do not say, ‘Three’; desist — it is better for you

When Muslims say "it is better for you" it means "submit to us--or else"

“Muslims believe that Jesus (called “Isa” in Arabic) was a prophet of God, was born to a virgin (Mary), and will return to Earth before the Day of Judgment to restore justice and to defeat al-Masih ad-Dajjal (“the false messiah”), also known as the Antichrist.”

They also believe that Jesus will lead Muslim armies to slaughter all the Jews and crucify the Christians who won’t convert to Islam. Sounds like a pretty holy guy, right?

“Mary (called “Maryam” in Arabic) has an entire chapter in the Quran named for her — the only chapter in the Quran named for a female figure.”

They also confuse her with “Miriam”, the sister of Aaron and Moses from the Old Testament, probably because Muhammed was an illiterate who stole a lot of content from Jewish and Christian scriptures he was never able to actually read and study.

“The name “Jesus, son of Mary”...”

This naming convention itself undercuts muslims’ own denial of Christ’s divine birth. If he was an ordinary mortal man, Arab convention would be to call him “Jesus, son of Joseph”, because Arabs are a tribal, patriarchal society and lineage was always traced from father to son, never from mother to son. Yet their own title shows that, at least at some point, Arab muslims (or whoever they stole their ideas from) recognized that Joseph was not the true father of Jesus, and that Jesus’ mortal ancestry could only be denoted through Mary.

“Muslims believe that Jesus performed miracles: The Quran discusses several of Jesus’s miracles, including giving sight to the blind, healing lepers, raising the dead, and breathing life into clay birds.”

The story of “breathing life into clay birds” is interesting in that Muhammed didn’t steal that one from the New Testament, but from the gnostic “Infancy Gospel of Thomas”. This suggests that the Christians that Muhammed cribbed his ideas from were already heretical ones, which would explain a lot of the other confusing and mistaken ideas he had about Scripture and Jesus.
