Starving the NK people & depriving them of oil is an act of war & IMHO a war crime. They have suffered enough. The evil regime will not suffer.

Oil embargo was what forced Pearl Harbor.

Who is stirring this up? This is insanity.

And widespread fire bombings burning millions to death helped win WWII.

What’s your point.

"Oil embargo was what forced Pearl Harbor."

And why was there an embargo?

Take your time...

Yeah - as if anything going into North Korea is being used on behalf of the people....feeding them and sending all sorts of largess over the decades has resulted in a valid nuclear threat to the rest of us, and a sick/hungry/oppressed population where even ‘elite” soldiers suffer horrible malnutrition and other indignitites - why not keep doing it??????

Best to leave it to the diplomats until NOKO has workable and reliable re-entry vehicles with thermonuclear MIRVed warheads ... after all Barkly said we are strong enough to absorb a few nuclear strikes without retaliating ... By-by SF, LA, Seattle, Anchorage, Hawaii - you were fun to have around but ... in the interest of diplomacy, sacrifices had to be made for the greater good.

This has nothing to do with providing heat sources to the N.Koreans, China sees an opportunity to bring in high revenues as mostly only the elite will have funds to purchase. Other distribution will be to keep the loyalty of the people in major cities from rising up against Fat Boy....and to keep the military people in line.

Also China has set up tent cities on their border to house those in rural areas who cross the border because they’re freezing. They want to limit that crossing to what they can handle.

The 90’s proved the regime is quite willing to let rural people die (sacrifice) for the overall good of the country.

You’ve got the cart after the horse....N.Korea threatening Nuclear War and firing off missiles is to ignite a war between the US, Russia/China. China is under obligation to defend N.Korea. Fatboy never fights his own fights on his own...never.
