BRUSSELS — Russian submarines have dramatically stepped up activity around undersea data cables in the North Atlantic, part of a more aggressive naval posture that has driven NATO to revive a Cold War-era command, according to senior military officials.

We are now seeing Russian underwater activity in the vicinity of undersea cables that I don’t believe we have ever seen,” said U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Andrew Lennon, the commander of NATO’s submarine forces. “Russia is clearly taking an interest in NATO and NATO nations’ undersea infrastructure.”

The only way Russia and/or China can feel confindent in prevailing in a war with the U.S. is if they believed they had the capability to disrupt command and control by having infiltrated informational systems.

The only way the U.S. can prevail in such a conflict is by assuming that they have infiltrated our informational systems and by allowing them to continue to belive they have, even after we have taken steps to assure they have not.

...the cables, which provide Internet and other communications connections to North America and Europe, could give the Kremlin the power to sever or tap into vital data lines...

Maybe they’re stealing our Internet. Or at least what information flows through it.

I hate that. I am suspicious that somebody in my neighborhood is doing that. I think my network password is too easy to guess.

I pay a pretty penny for the worldwide web and I hate to let some freeloader cruise porn on my dime.

Let's do a preemptive strike and lock Boris and Natasha up.

This will not stand!!!

Rocket J. Squirrel was the mortal enemy of Boris and Natasha. Along with his sidekick Bullwinkle Moose.

Natasha Fatale: Boris, is Moose you said you killed in previous episode?

Boris Badenov: Look, it's his show. If he wants to be hard to kill, let him.

Rocket J. Squirrel...Donald J. Trump....

Hmmmmmm....curious.

Whatever. Western Europe is virtually a wasteland capitulating to Islam. Move the US bases to Poland and be done with it.

Is this #FakeNews, again?

The Russians have been prowling around our undersea cables for several decades. I wonder whether they really have increased their activity or the media decided that their ordinary activity is suddenly news. The Resistance has to remind people that “Russia” is a threat, or what’s the point in their investigation?

Here is what the author writes:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/people/michael-birnbaum/

He is the Brussels Bureau Chief for the Washington ComPost. What else could you expect from him except anti American dribble and EU globalist talk.

This article he wrote shows you his dingy view of the world and the US:

“Obama’s secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin’s election assault”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2017/world/national-security/obama-putin-election-hacking/

Total Euro Weenie insanity. Any sense of credibility is out the window after reading this.
