Catalonia's secessionist parties won enough votes Thursday to regain a majority in the regional parliament and give new momentum to their political struggle for independence from Spain.
It was hardly an emphatic victory, however, as the separatists lost support compared to the previous vote in 2015, and a pro-unity party for the first time became biggest single bloc in the Catalan parliament.
The result left more questions than answers about what's next for Catalonia, where a long-standing push for independence escalated to a full-on clash with the Spanish government two months ago.

Spain is small potato. There will be a world wide redrawing of the national boundaries. It will take down Russia, China, and India, but also readjust the Middle East. In the next 5 to 25 years. The biggest winners will be small ethno-states. Even the US might lose its southwest, but it’s probably a long shot... unless Texas flips. If oil becomes less important due to alternativea, it may happen.

Know a little about the area’s politics before you jump on the Catalonia separatist movement. The whole area around Barcelona is infested with Muzzies who are backing the separatist movement because they want to take over the whole area as a terrorist staging area and a further step up on their takeover of the EU from the inside.
Plus, the Catalonian separatists are mostly communists posing as socialists (same thing, pretty much). So you would end up with a communist infested/Muzzie terrorist infested new country sitting right on the border of the rest of Spain, infiltrating into Spain proper with terrorist attacks and causing trouble for the rest of the EU. Think twice about what you wish for, as it will not be doing Spain any favors if those that are ignorant of what is really going on in Catalonia, support a separatist movement that will be a serious detriment to Spain as a whole as well as to the EU itself.
