Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rosselló said Thursday he will seek to mobilize Latino voters ahead of the 2018 midterm elections, citing the GOP's tax overhaul passed this week.
Rosselló, a Democrat and member of the island's New Progressive Party, argued on MSNBC that the Republican tax plan hurts Puerto Rico's economy.
Asked which lawmakers he would target ahead of the midterms next year, Rosselló told host Katy Tur, "we're going to be working on that."
"Right now, we're going to do an evaluation of all the congressmen and congresswomen that have pledged support toward the people of Puerto Rico, and in the time to take action they have reneged on that word," he said.

They must be totally confident that the Republicans in Washington won’t do anything to retaliate.
I guess Puerto Ricans living in the US mainland don’t want jobs and prefer not to work?
Hmm why do they need to Organize ? Are they finding out people there like Trump
They need to have the “bamboozle” put on em, now....thankless bassturds.
Praying that this fails, especially in Florida what with the massive influx of Puerto Rican hurricane “refugees!!”
Florida is obviously so crucial for any hopes of the GOP winning the White House.
Independence for Puerto Rico.
Now.
Never allow them to become a state.
How?
Fake News, going nowhere.
Isn’t this the guy who was handing out Federal disaster aid money to his pals as bonuses?
They already live in a state of confusion.
On one side we have the moochers, commies, socialists, racists, sex freaks, snowflakes, illegals, muslim enablers and other democrats led by the scumbag politicians who pander to them with tax money extorted from the shrinking segment of the population who actually work for a living and try to make their own way in life.
On the other side we have working taxpayers, President Trump, and the few honest republicans and conservatives who have not yet been blackmailed into cooperating with the RINOs, Never Trumpers and democrats.
Why would they need to do that? The already vote against republicans.
Trump won Florida by 119,000 votes. I doubt all 200,000 Puerto Rico resident recently moved into the state are:
a. Registered
b. Going to vote
c. Democrat sycophants
We will be fine, in my opinion.
Absolutely.
Country only. They can be their own problem.
No matter how hard Trump’s administration worked to give massive assistance after that hurricane, these ungrateful sh*ts do this.
Why we retain PR as a commonwealth anyway is beyond me. Cut it loose.
The same Latinos enjoying their lowest unemployment rate ever in the U.S.? THOSE Latinos?
Libre Puerto Rico!!
