HALSTAD, Minn. -- A Minnesota woman has pleaded guilty to fatally shooting her boyfriend in a videotaped stunt they planned to post on YouTube. Monalisa Perez, 20, pleaded guilty last week to second-degree manslaughter in the June death of 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz III, The Star Tribune reported . Perez, who was pregnant at the time of the shooting, has two young children with Ruiz.

She will probably be let go with time served.
Should have made the plea bargain 10 years and hopefully let her out pending sentencing and MAYBE she and her rug rats and aunts and rest of the clan may make a ‘break for the border’ with the state paying for the bus tickets....

I agree. Don’t waste space in prison for this pitiful, pathetic woman. She has already received her sentence for her crime.
I agree. To be honest, she lost someone she really cared about here. This will be tough on her the rest of her life.
I think of the kids. Should the state take the other parent away too?

Shoulda used a .380 at 20 feet. It might have worked, along with putting a 1/4” Steel Plate in the middle of the Book.
