Without options and on the verge of losing the protections that allow them to remain in the only country they know, hundreds of undocumented youth have descended on the nation’s capital, putting everything on the line to pass the bipartisan DREAM Act.
These courageous men and women have staged sit-ins and “die-ins” at the offices of members of Congress - Republicans and Democrats alike - to urge them not to vote for a spending bill without this critical piece of legislation.
Some Democrats have demonstrated political courage in their steadfast commitment to voting against any spending bill that does not include the DREAM Act. Unfortunately, other Democrats have been unwilling to make the same pledge. A growing number of DREAMers will pay the price of their lack of resolve.
A vote for the spending bill without the DREAM Act is a moral failure. Democrats can prevent an American tragedy by holding the line on the DREAM Act. Their actions will have consequences beyond the nearly 800,000 DACA recipients. DREAMers are the children, siblings, parents, and friends of U.S. citizens…and voters.

This would be a perfect time to round them up and deport them, if we had a governmental agency which still practiced the rule of law.

I'd much rather shut down the government than cave in to the dummocraps' hysteria on this. They have no real concern for the above-described illegals. The illegals have just enough intelligence to be trained to push the buttons for candidates with a "D" next to their name. That is their only value to dummocraps. Nothing else. So, in order to gain illegal votes, which doesn't bother the dummocraps in the least (they're already breaking so many laws anyway...), they are not only willing, but screaming DEMANDING that we allow ourselves to be overrun with these very low-value illegals so that they can win elections by hook or CROOK. Mostly crook. And the very stoopid young people don't think to look beyond their K-12 + college brainwashing to see if what they have been indoctrinated with is actually true, so they sign up as eager acolytes to these crooked dummocrap politicians and community organizers.
Governments do not have moral obligations. Governments have only legal obligations.

Start by deporting any who are arrested for any crime, including trespass. Then deport the rest. Anyone who is deported should be banned from legal reentry ever again.
