I was being funny and sarcastic. The guy interviewed on Tucker Carlson who was rabidly pushing the tree killing was a rabid white liberal. He might even have been on the council.

They ask for civic groups to help and I’m in Kiwanis. You can call the local Salvation Army group and volunteer.

So where do the assign you and how long do you have to pull a bell ringing shift?

I've noticed that my local Meijer store has no bell ringers outside. Maybe I should contact management and ask why there is no one outside?

They give the club set days and hours and we fill it in our own way. I do 2 hours tomorrow and 2 on Saturday.

I just sent an email to the local SA contacts and asked why there are no bell ringers at my local big box store.......

If it's because Meijer doesn't want them then I'm going to flood the Meijer corporate offices with emails as well as embarrass them in the local county newspaper.........
