AT&T plans to invest an additional $1 billion in the U.S. in 2018 and pay a special bonus of $1,000 to more than 200,000 U.S. employees once the Republican tax reform bill is signed into law. If the President signs the bill before Christmas, employees will receive the bonus over the holidays, AT&T said in a press release Wednesday.
The company said the bonus payments will go to union-represented, non-management, and front-line managers. In other words, the working men and women who President Donald Trump has promised will be helped by the tax reform bill.

Democrats must be furious that people are allowed to keep what they earn.
I am hoping that this results in a rise in the value of ATnT stock.
I’ve been concerned lately, because I am not happy with their acquisition of Direct TV.
That is not a worthy product, IMO, expense is more than the value of the product.
But maybe I am wrong.
very good news today.
I’m sure Pelosi is on the phone telling the CEO to put all that money in his pocket and to screw the workers. Chuckie needs to call to let them know how bad they’re making the Rat cadre look.
Much more likely a rise in prices for their services: U-verse, DirecTV, AT&T Wireless, etc.
Also, there was the announced layoff of 700 DirecTV installers yesterday:

Done on the backs of hungry children, eh?
Perhaps AT&T will flush the excrement at CNN
MAGA ^3
democrats/communists and especially the milenial ones are now in double meltdown mode!
WOW look at that..Unions don’t even support Trump and yet they are gonna get 1,000 bonus..will Trumpka be protesting this LOL..No wonder Democrats are so pissed..hundreds of thousands of new Trump voters were just created today
....Also, there was the announced layoff of 700 DirecTV installers yesterday...
All cable and satellite providers are losing customers fast due to the internet. I have been with Dish 20 years because of wanting decent TV in a RV.
I asked a Dish customer service rep how many 20 year customers she talks to on a normal basis. The length of time you have been a customer showed on the top of their computer screen. She said less than 10 in the last three years.
No doubt you are correct, but they can’t keep raising the cost of Direct TV, it’s simply not worth it.
That’s why they are laying off installers.
Instead, they need to find a way to make the product more attractive and valuable to consumers, or dump it.
They aren’t going to continue to be able to sell bundled channels.
Nothing on them, they are all terrible.
Google, Netflix, and a handful of others are about to swallow up telecom over the next 5 years.
They’ll have to reinvent themselves or die very soon.
I agree, the union is not gonna like this
Meltdown of the Millinal Left Minions ?
GOOD ! and DAMN GOOD !
Perhaps the only “ Safe Space Place “ left for the snowflakes is a padded room in a mental ward for Psychological evaluation.
...and the Democrats are opposed to this as they voted against it.
None of them can stand on there members just got a 1K bonus without the union negotiation. They are gonna flip
This will do more for the economy then the trillions of dollars Obama borrowed to reward his supporters.
This is millions of dollars being spent by the working man on things they and their family need. Each dollar spent will circulate within the economy until many benefit.
This is exactly what the Democrat did not want to happen.
That’s the reason AT&T is buying Time Warner
Union leaders and staff don’t support President Trump, but many of the rank and file do. Look at the result of the 2016 election in West Virginia. The rank and file coal miners support President Trump even thought the former president of the United Mine Workers and now President of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumka supported Hillary.
