Why do so many people hate it when working Americans get to keep more of their own money and the Government/Politicians get less to try and buy votes with?

Personally, I have never voted for anyone who said they were going to tap my wallet for more of my own money.
Emotion driven generalities of speak with no foundation in facts is the majority position of the left. If you demonstrate enough anger and disgust loudly with bodily fluids spray off you that is supposed to mean they know more than anyone else (egomaniac).
When I hear politicians talk about how to “maximize tax receipts” I immediately ask myself why that is that the goal?
It goes to their mindset, there’s always something more the government should be doing, not less. To me, the goal should be how the government can perform on the *minimum* budget possible and should be actively looking to how they can take LESS tax receipts. Of course, we all know why they don’t but it’s interesting to hear their real attitudes through such comments.
