This isn’t a Susan Collins or John McCain situation where they have cost us a vote victory and are blocking good legislation.
While they have opted to vote no here, on a bill that was important and close, they would more than likely vote with us.
At least some of these folks are solid Conservatives. Roherbacher is a good guy.
These folks live in Blue states and have to run for cover at times.

If they are going to vote liberal rather than the conservative stance the GOP has, their seat is already lost. And as for saying they will more likely vote with us? They didn’t.
If I lived in California, but I played for Texas, should I only catch passes when it meant something or all the time because it might mean something later? Or will I start dropping passes so the quarterback will lose confidence in me and not throw it to me anymore when he really needs me?
