Yes, but if immunity was granted, it probably was as part of a larger immunity agreement hammered out with the DOJ

Well, if all the witnesses have to strip the poisonous fruit out of their practiced spiels, that’s a few days re-work with Mueller and their lawyers...

Did you notice that muellers explanation for taking the emails referenced a criminal investigation? It’s a counter intelligence investigation.

Unless he’s using weasel words...or there really is a criminal in.

With this CF anything is possible

The fact that committee leadership was out of pocket too and other members were blindsided speaks to either a negotiated deal or a sudden new disclosure of evidence

My bet is Ohr had docs incriminating McCabe and others

Thank-you.

Rosenweasel had not really stated just what the investigation is.

It could be both, but for the criminal part it’d be nice if they listed the crimes they are investigating.

Yeah, his spox maybe didn’t know Bob really didn’t have clear title to the PTT data. Mueller makes colossal errors in everything he’s ever undertaken. Intentional errors that nobody ever calls out.

I think the only way to get any convictions is to offer someone immunity. I do sincerely hope our side has enough evidence to not need to go that route, though.

They really are trying hard to provoke President Trump to fire him.

Mueller has nothing against any Trumps, so the SC effort is going to dribble slowly into nothing.

Now they are desperate to provoke POTUS to make a move which they hope to use for an impeachment effort. What b.s.

I should think Congress can defund Mueller when they’ve had enough of his lost RUSSIA collusion hunt. That case is closed, short of opening a fake evidence manufacturing plant.

Mueller has let the Russia rabbit trail morph into an unnecessary gazillion dollar witch hunt for small crimes and misdemeanors, to which Ann Coulter could point to... for free.

Congress should shut Mueller down and call for Sessions to resign.

Supposedly Special Counsels work under funds that are pre-allocated, although I don’t know what the set aside total is. Probably awarded at the start of the fiscal year so plenty likely left still.

“I think the only way to get any convictions is to offer someone immunity.”

I want NO immunity! I want to see a conga-line of perps frog marched out of the DOJ and the FBI in handcuffs and leg shackles, their silk ties removed, with their heads pushed down to shove them into a waiting black sedan.

Anyone remotely connected to the Clinton-skate and Trump-coup scandals!

I can see it!

You are right. A Special Counsel is a part of the budget set aside every year.

I read also that the Bill Clinton investigation cost $79 million! Imagine the cost of this Trump hunt, in 2017 currency.

Napolitano: Mueller did not wrongly obtain Trump team emails
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/12/18/mueller-s-office-defends-investigation-after-trump-team-slams-email-access.html

In the last years, Judge Napolitano’s star has fallen in my household. Although very articulate and knowledgeable, he seems disjointed in his presentations, simultaneously explaining procedures while contradicting his own inferences under questioning. The FoxNews host adroitly steers Napolitano into this question:

“They’re arguing how do you not impair future transitional teams coming into the White House in a new administration, what’s the defense on that?”

Napolitano responds: “You either don’t send anything to the TSA (sic), and they send ... to the GSA, excuse me, and they sent everything to the GSA, or you enter into a written agreement with the GSA which says if you receive a written subpoena from any law enforcement entity, before complying with the subpoena, you will tell us first.”

Apparently, in making the statement that Mueller did not wrongly take the PTT emails, Napolitano did not have information that Kory Langhofer, the successor Trustee of the PTT, gave to the press that there was a standing order to GSA to direct all requests and subpoenas to them first:

“Langhofer also said that a GSA official appointed by Trump in May had assured the transition in June that any request for records from Mueller’s office would be referred to the transition’s attorneys. According to Langhofer, the assurance was made by then-GSA General Counsel Richard Beckler, who was hospitalized in August and has since died. A copy of the letter was obtained by the AP.”

GSA is the custodian.

Importantly, the FoxNews host continues with Napolitano to point out what I characterize as an ‘ambush’ on Trump team members entering the White House. I will say that McCabe led the raid on the GSA held emails after the inauguration to secure a line of questioning on Trump PTT members as they moved into the West Wing. Napolitano informs that it is SOP for FBI to interview all new members of the PTT in the West Wing. As I see it, McCabe and his FBI gang did not inform the Trump PTT members that they held the emails. So, as occurred in the General Flynn case, the new members were questioned without knowing that the FBI interviewers had their emails. So if there were omissions, or altered facts, or incomplete answers, and the sort, the FBI could use the interviews and the emails to get a grand jury to indict on perjury.

“First we F Flynn, then we F Trump”

The above quote attributed to McCabe by a witness in a closed meeting makes sense now. McCabe was setting a trap for Trump’s people. The evidence regarding handoff of data from the GSA to FBI likely shows the transfer of custody of the GSA data to McCabe. This would explain why McCabe has an Ohr problem. It would explain why McCabe is toast.

Reports that McCabe entraps people, innocent people, are not new. More than a year ago George Webb started his epic investigation based on McCabe entrapment from years before when McCabe was with JTTF and was accumulating scalps via entrapment in order to seek promotion. McCabe is a dirty cop. In gutter street language, McCabe is a g*ddamn piece of sh*t.

The criminal investigation that is mentioned in connection with Mueller is a mystery at this point. But I imagine it has to do with the FBI interview of General Flynn. The remarks on this thread that the seizure of the GSA emails by Mueller having to do with allowing culprits to tighten their stories doesn’t mesh with the fact that FBI already had the PTT-GSA emails and so could have coordinated the ‘storyline’ months before. Their mistake was not knowing that the IG had a resource to acquire the texts between Strzok and Page which in effect opened the door to take down Dirty McCabe and possibly more.

Let’s see McCabe get convicted and begin the process of closing this whole chapter of a grand waste of time waged against the Trump Administration. Of course, it would be ideal to nab Hillary the Psychopath too, as well as the former Muslim-in-Chief. But first, let’s see McCabe hang.

Lastly, I’ll say I am even more impressed, if that were possible, that Donald Trump has remained so positive in his announcements concerning the future of America in the wake of all the blatantly treasonous conduct surrounding him by persons who should ever have been allowed to set foot to begin with near the White House.

These a$$hats committee persons are conspiring to protect Ohr and others by postponing a hearing? They are deciding whose asses will feed grasses and whose will be shaved? IDJITS. Let the cow chips fall where they may!

Shit, if they found new documents one would think that would hasten their need to have the hearing!

No one can be trusted in this parade of sedition.

BTTT, and thanks. The trump card will be what’s in the FISA app that Strzok not only authored but delivered to the judge for the unmaskings. Fruit of the poisonous tree is still alive and kicking on this angle, if it can’t be applied to the PTT comms........ YET.
