Well, not going to jump for joy without more details.

The old dynamic was people dropping off the benefits wagon.

Would want to see the employment rate !

Unemployment only counts hose looking for work.

Actual unemployment/ underemployment for those groups in the city is closer to 50%

I agree. I think the unemployment concept as presented is absurd.

If we’re to believe the, ‘Bureau of Labor Mis-Management’ then the U-6 number (which I always refer to) has gone UP one tenth of a percent in November. Chart here:

Page 5 of this PDF does show minority unemployment going DOWN all across the board. First time, ever, really.
