According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics( BLS), the unemployment rate for black Americans is the lowest it has been since the year 2000, 17 years ago.
In November, the national unemployment rate for black Americans, ages 16 and over, was 7.3%.
The last time it was 7.3% was in the year 2000, during the months September, October and November.
During the Bush and Obama years (2001 -2016), the black unemployment rate fluctuated between 7.7% and a high of 16.8%.
Back in September 2017, the rate was 7.0%, a low that had not been seen since April of 2000. Prior to that, going all the way back to 1972, the black unemployment rate never fell below 7.0% and was largly in the double digits throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Doesn’t matter, the black population will still vote over % for the socialist dems. ANd I wonder how many of the jobs are state or federal jobs. I’d rather see black small businesses sky rocketing because being employed if it’s by the government is worthless imo.
I mean, it helps feed you and pay the bills but the tax payer cost of one government job is probably three times higher than the actual salary of the employee.

It’s like we all just take for granted that Democrats will always get 90+% of the black vote.

I think I pretty much alluded to it in my post. I’d say a disproportionate amount of black people work for the state or federal government,or collect welfare in some form (money, housing, food etc)
Aside from all the racism lies the left pushes about conservatives, there is a financial reason for blacks to vote socialist. They benefit disproportionately more than any other group in the country from large government.
It is amazing how DC, politics and the media can leak like sieves, but the MAGA economy during Trump’s first year continues to be one of the best kept secrets of all time.
