It has confectionary sugar in the flour mix. It also has Kosher salt and black pepper mixed in with the flour, but the sugar gives it that flavor everyone loves.

I have made a variation at home using my deep fryer, and that is the secret ingredient. It is spot on. Some copycat recipes use a little more sugar than others.

Those nuggets are probably good with anything, or nothing at all. But they're best with the Chick-Fil-a sauce...my goodness, that stuff is like crack!
