The competitor of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport from Nissan is declassified

In the Network there were photos Nissan Terra, the frame SUV created on the basis of the Navara pickup. Mitsubishis Pajero Sport and Toyota Fortuner will become his main competitors.

Photos of the car appeared on the Chinese social network, and then crept away on the Internet. The author of a post claims that in pictures the production version of the SUV removed for the state certification in Celestial Empire.

The SUV will receive the name Terra: its Nissan registered this year in Malaysia, but till today was considered that it is reserved for the electric crossover on the basis of Nissan Leaf of the second generation.

The model will be constructed on the basis of present generation of the Nissan NP300 Navara pickup. Precisely according to the same scheme the previous generation of Pathfinder which the Japanese company shortsightedly refused because of the American market where appreciate comfort of crossovers was made. But, having transferred Pathfinder to an automobile platform, at Nissan the gap in the Asian market where frame cars enjoy wide popularity was formed.

Other markets, and Russia for certain will appear among them, will receive also turbodiesels. Now at Gains it is the 2,3 and 2,5 liters power units with a power of 160-190 h.p.

The official premiere of Nissan Terra is planned for the Beijing motor show which will take place in April of the next year. Production in China will begin at once after a premiere, and here model conclusion terms to other markets are still unknown.

In Russia except Mitsubishi Pajero Sport the SUV from Nissan should fight and against Toyota Fortuner which entered our market recently. By the way, on the basis of the Nissan Navara pickup of the last generation also the mersedesovsky pickup of the X-class which Germans call "the first bonus pickup" is constructed.
