I hate to break the news to you that the Turks didn’t start over running what is now called Turkey until the 11th and 12th centuries A.D. Over a thousand years after the time of Paul. Tarsus was a Greco Roman hub with a large Jewish population.

I should add that Tarsus predates the Greco Roman world. But it was Roman at the time a young Jew called Saul came into the world

Cut me some slack bro. I know. Paul was born in Tarsus, but I am sure he wouldn’t have much in common with today’s Turks. I was having a little fun. My question would be, when they started over running the place, where did they come from?
