let me get this straight....corporations are getting a huge tax decrease and now their complaining that they need more for there liddle bitty workers?

Pass-through small businesses pay a higher rate than corps. If any of them offered such benefits, they’re gone.

Corporations do not pay taxes. Taxes are an expense. To price a product you take the cost of the product, which includes all the expenses and you add profit. The consumer of the product pays corporate taxes.

The reason liberals want to tax corporations is that people don’t realize they are paying it and therefore don’t get upset.

This is a big deal in Europe where they have “value added” taxes. A VAT tax is even less visible as it is assessed against every level of production in making the product. Recently, several countries complained that the new GOP tax plan would give American products an unfair advantage in their marketplaces because of their tax system. One outcome of the GOP plan may be to decrease product prices globally. I think that would be a good thing.
