Romney strapped the dog to the roof of a station wagon in a cage. Poor terrified thing crapped itself.

Well, he allegedly strapped a dog cage, to the top of his car, but I don’t know if that was a real thing. Kind of white trash of him.

Yeah, he drove cross country with a dog in a carrier, strapped to the top of a station wagon IIRC.
