(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) released the following statement:
“Despite the pleas of millions of Americans, President Trump’s FCC voted to change the internet as we know it, and turn it into yet another money-making tool for large corporations. This move is shameful and wrong, and I encourage the many, many people affected by today’s decision—from students and families, to small business owners and the next generation of innovators—to keep fighting back. We will not forget who and what comes first in the Trump/Republican agenda.”

Exactly. And I don’t know anything about these NN Rules, all I know is about a year after they were enacted my internet with Xfiniity doubled in price. Not sure there is a connection but I’m blaming it on NN, regardless. Lol
... But virtually the only corporation which supported the repeal of the power overreach by the FCC was Cisco. If all those companies from Apple to Facebook to Verizon were fighting to preserve unlawful regulatory actions that would prevent major income opportunities, where are all the outraged boards and shareholder lawsuits?

I am a Comcast customer, the way things are now, Comcast can not charge me extra if I use Amazon or Netflix to stream a movie. With out net-neutrality they can charge me more for using Netflix to encourage me to use their movie service, right?

Personally, I don’t care what Senator Murray thinks or has to say about anything. You can add Schumer, Clinton, Pelosi, Waters etc to that statement too.
