(comic relief)

Tom Carper mis-heard the word "slap", he thought he was talking about 'slept' -

"Did I slap slept with my wife 20 years ago? Yes," Carper said. "Do I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again? No."

Delaware is no longer a competitive state for the GOP thanks to the hard-left leaning New Castle County (Wilmington). It shouldn’t even be a state at this point with 3 small counties. Give it to Maryland.

Not true.

As this chart shows, the Senate has gone from 16 to 5 in 2010 to 11 to 10 currently.

Delaware State Senate Party Control: 1992-2016
Party 92 94 96 98 00 02 04 06 08 10 12 14 16 17
Democrats 15 12 15 13 13 13 13 13 16 14 13 12 11
Republicans 6 9 6 8 8 8 8 8 5 7 8 9 10

The house had a high of 27 dems in 2014 and now has 25. That is a 60% / 40% split.

Delaware House of Representatives Party Control: 1992-2016
Party 92 94 96 98 00 02 04 06 08 10 12 14 16 17
Democrats 18 14 18 15 15 12 15 18 24 26 27 25 25
Republicans 23 27 23 26 26 29 26 23 17 15 14 16 16

Delaware was a Republican state for quite some time, but it can be counted as a Democrat one now, despite some of the legislative shifts you cited. For a time, the GOP was overrepresented in the State House, which controlled it uninterrupted from 1985 until 2009, which the Dems finally managed to break with Zero’s election in 2008, while conversely the Dems have been overrepresented in their State Senate for years, which has not elected a GOP majority since 1970 (despite now being down a seat).

Here are some sobering points regarding the state:

#1, No Republican has been elected Governor since 1988.

#2, No Republican has won the Senate seat held by Tom Carper since 1994.

No Republican has won the Senate seat held by Chris Coons since 1966.

#3, No Republican has won the House seat since 2008 (and that by the left-wing RINO Mike Castle)

#4, No Republican has carried Delaware for President (because of New Castle County) since 1988.

The House seat was open last year, the rats nominated a Black Chick, and to my dismay we went with a ....4th? 5th? tier (we should define the tiers) no body candidate. No one else ran, I don't think the guy spent a dime. Pathetic DE GOP, pathetic.

Dude ended up getting less than a point less than Trump got in the state. I don't know much closer someone viable could have gotten but by God they didn't even freaking try.

The Gov candidate seemed decent but Carney blew him out.

It's not quite Vermont but it may as well be. Ughhhh. Actually Vermont is a lot more competitive when it comes to Governor. That combo of lib suburbanites and Blacks in New Castle county is nasty.

Tiny state legislatures can be frustrating.

Small libs states are just the pits, I wish we could drop some of our millions of wasted Cali votes in those bastards. Someone needs to start a migration program. I'd be willing to collect maple syrup and freeze my hiney off for the cause, of course I'd rather go to Hawaii.
