Let me amend my post by saying I fully support and will defend the US Constitution.

However, a Founding Father (not remembering which one this morning) stated that our system of Government is only suited for a moral and religious people and wholly inadequate for any other. (paraphrasing).

The problem is with defense.

So far as I can see there is little or no defense of the Constitution beyond talking about it. In effect the Constitution has already been bypassed by the legal system and is effectively meaningless

meanwhile, America offers no real defense.

Only revolution and blood in the streets will reverse the situation and restore constitutional purity
