To: MadMax, the Grinning Reaper

“Hamas” is actually the Hebrew word for “violence”. It appears in the Torah most prominently in Genesis (Bereshith) 6:11. These people chose that name carefully.

And also, “Fatah” is Arabic for “conquest”.

Thanks for the “actual” meaning of the world “ hamas”. Unfortunately I left out my “/sarc” sign.

But while we’re at it, break down Hamas and you have “Ham Ass”. OK, I’m not really good at spelling but you get the meaning.

Re Dr. Seuss, “Hamas” spelled backwards has two words from one of his best poems, “Sam Ah Am” (the southern dialect version).
