I am not so sure. He denied the charges, but that side of these stories is discounted. His suicide letter is compelling, and he is steadfast in declaring his innocence. We live in sad times-
The guy sounds like he was a real loony-tune, with a life story filled with a lot of embellishment and some outright fabrications.
We live in a time where guilt or innocence is beside the point. He knew his public life was over whether or not he had done anything wrong. He couldn't face as life of endless harassment and accusation.
Sad times indeed.
