Doug Ducey is the Governor of Arizona and he is a Republican.

Trump should be pumping him now as to whom he plans to seat as a replacement. He should be a member of the Freedom Conference. Either Gosar, Schweikert or Biggs.

If McCain were to pass or resign, the governor of Arizona is a Republican (Doug Ducey). I'm pretty sure he would appoint a Republican.

Okay good point.

I will say though, that doesn’t mean he won’t wake up and oppose future ones.

If he gets the idea the court is getting too far right or “radicalized”, don’t be surprised if he goes South.
