Cut spending and taxes will take care of themselves.

The former will never happen so we will never know about the latter. The swamp is infested with RINO’s who are emboldened now that Moore lost. This is the best we are going to get and I will be surprised if it gets done.

Thank you for referencing that article C19fan. As usual, please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Practically speaking, we're not going to see a tax code fully compliant with Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers imo, at least not from the corrupt, 115th deep state Congress.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."—Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Patriots will hopefully put new patriot faces in Congress in the 2018 elections that will front-end a Section 8-compliant tax code with a 1040EZ form that all citizens can use.

Patriots need to sell Section 8-compliant federal tax code to their state lawmakers by noting that the states will eventually find new revenues by supporting Pres. Trump in putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes.

Patriots need to make sure that their state lawmakers understand the following.

Once unconstitutional federal taxes are stopped, the states will probably find a tsunami of new revenues for starting their own custom healthcare and retirement plans, increase funding for schools, police and fire departments, and also repair infrastructure, ultimately depending on what legal majority voters of each state want.

And in order to make sure that citizens benefit not only from Trump's vision for MAGA, but also enjoy a Section 8-compliant tax code for many generations, patriots also need to support Trump in working with the states to repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A).

Patriots now need to be making sure that there are plenty of state sovereignty-respecting, Trump-supporting patriot candidates on the 2018 primary ballots and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to D.C. on election day.

Again, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, until the ill-conceived 17A is repealed, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.

Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

Its up to the taxpayer how to split it. Renters would not see a benefit if the only deduction was property taxes. Now renters can use the full 10K on their income taxes. Owners still have the mortg interest deduction up to the mortg value of 750 K (so cannot deduct that portion of interest on values higher than that. But existing deductions are kept with a grandfather provision.
