Sadly, Mitch McConnell and the Republicans succeeded in what no Democrat could: Elect a democrat to the senate. This is why I left the Republican party.

It was the AL state auditor, Jim Zeigler, who raised Caine over AL state AG Luther Strange delaying an investigation of Gov. Robert "Love Guv" Bentley, who was eventually forced to resign from office earlier this year. New Gov. Kay Ivey took her cue from Zeigler.
Yet, the results do actually show we’ve been winning more seats in the States for the last fifteen years. I suspect you’re upset and angry. I say again that Alabama could have found 100,000 better citizens of their state who’d have beaten Jones. Instead, they followed team Bannon’s injection into the process and went off the cliff. Alabama has a Democrat Senator because Bannon’s man won against Trump’s endorsement, by the way.

You sound like a person who wants people like Jones to win. I think the reason you don’t vote Democratic is because you believe in conservative values. I mean it’s about more than just winning despite that weird mantra. Most conservatives cannot be happy with this. But what are you going to do when the candidate picked is this weak, this flawed, and this plain weird that he cannot even win in a very safe conservative state? Pick real conservative candidates who don’t have deeply flawed character.
Better yet just claim your a homosexual or tranny. Apparently the people of American even redneck Alabama have no issues supporting THAT agenda over straight men who make sloppy moves on females. This is your country now.
Your point is that the voters of Alabama are so stupid they couldn’t figure out that Roy Moore was a victim of a smear, right? I suppose that type of contempt for the South is soothing to folks who cannot accept that Moore was a bad candidate, not unlike those who think Hillary only lost because of the Russians.

So which one are you? GOPe, RINO, or dem. They all look alike to me except the only thing worse than a dem is a RINO or GOPe.
I’m a hardcore conservative. So now that I answered you maybe you’d answer me. Would you want Roy Moore around your daughter or granddaughter? Your kind of guy? I mean I would have let Teddy Kennedy drive a family member of mine home, but you seem like a guy who might put party above morality and common sense.
Moore had to run against his own party and the opposition. Lets face it, the allegations against Moore were released way too early to be from Democrats. They were released far enough in advance to allow the establishment to replace him and still stand a chance of winning. Weird, flawed? Those descriptions were used to describe Trump. Are you really going to let the establishment tell you who you are allowed to vote for? Pick a real conservative without a deeply flawed character? They had to go back forty years into his past, and the only allegations that were damning were highly dubious. Good luck finding that saint you are looking for. Sure this is a setback, but who really believes fighting this war for the soul of America isn’t going to have some setbacks?

And voted for Strange? Basically, from now on vote for McConnell’s pick, or a Democrat gets elected.
Oh, and as to that, the couple hundred dollars out of my checking account will prove that wrong. But then wringing my hands because the candidate didn't meet all the establishment ideals has never stopped me before.
100,000 other Alabama Republican candidates in Alabama would have beaten Jones. It’s, thankfully, a super red state. Why blame the voters for a horrible candidate and imply they’re stupid and awful? Moore was the wrong candidate unless we expect voters to blindly loyal, and as long as voters are free they won’t be. Lesson learned is this. Pick good candidates.
