Since when is treason actually treason in this country? Why do we even have that code if it is never enforced? Bradley Manning - gets a free sex change and is pardoned after serving about as much time as a tax offender, Bowe Bergdahl defecting to the enemy - NO time in prison. Jane Fonda - NO time in prison. B. Hussein freeing 200 Jihadis reinforcing the enemy, freeing 5 Taliban commanders without the approval of Congress using the ruse that Bergdahl was a POW, flying MS-13 gangs - the ISIS of South America into the USA to kill US citizens and he is celebrated.
Totally agree, but sadly the fault is Congress which since WWII has refused to do its constitutional duty and declare war against our military foes.
That puts us back in the situation of the US Civil War, where virtually nobody was convicted of treason, though many met the Constitution's definition.
