After watching Live PD on A&E I don’t think police vary as much as you think. Are there places where they might come and knock on your door first? Sure, but fewer and fewer. Today almost everyone they stop or are exposed to on both sides of crime are given a Terry weapons search. Almost everyone is asked for their ID. Poorly operated K-9’s are used as an excuse for a search. People are bullied into allowing field interrogations and often not Mirandized until after they admit to something. If two cops will do they bring 5-7, mostly to intimidate the “suspect”.

This situation is/was brought to you and me by the drug epidemic which has touched the entire country.

Took my daughter to a gun training course. First time she'd fired a gun. Afterwards she said, "How come you never told me how much fun this is?" I got her a Glock for Christmas that year.

Many years ago we were in Nashville with our young kids and the oldest son around 9 wanted to go to the Rain Forest Cafe and we walked in the front of the store and about that time the fake elephant they have in one of the corners roars and burst out a short distance and then the even shuts down. This utterly terrified my four year old daughter she was ready to go right then and crying. I took her outside and let her know I wouldn’t let that elephant or anything bother her. She quietly asked do you have your gun daddy? I said yes baby I do, I was carrying a glock 27 IWB and I promise you if it gets close to you I will shot it okay. Okay she said and we went back in and I asked the hostess to seat us far away from the elephant.

Needless to say I had a four year old attached to my thigh for part of the meal. The first time the elephant came out again she gripped my thigh and I said its okay baby see he just comes out and goes back in and I won’t let him bother us. Within ten or fifteen minutes she was coloring and ignoring the elephant but staying right next to me.

Liberals are trying to indoctrinate us that all guns are bad, that violence is violence no matter the reason, that it makes no difference who has a gun, that good and evil are equal.

But there *is* a big difference between a good man with a gun and a bad man with a gun.
The difference between aggressor and defender.
The difference between mortal threat and safety.
The difference between evil and good.
Even small children know the difference, until it gets wiped out by insane college professors.
