The House Ethics Committee says it is expanding an investigation into sexual harassment allegations against Republican Rep. Blake Farenthold of Texas.
The committee said it will investigate whether Farenthold sexually harassed a former member of his staff and retaliated against her for complaining. The committee also said the panel would review allegations that Farenthold made inappropriate statements to other members of his official staff.

Forget that whole lack of pictures documenting the poor behavior thing.
He may need to go, but there needs to be something like a reasonable inquest, not a mob trial with pitchforks and torches of the sort Dems prefer.

He Fired her for being inept and she comes back w charges and the Legal Beagles Settle as per SOP and now Blake gets hung out to dry?
He is my Rep and I do have my differences with him but this is just BS and I have to side with him... I do think that he said screw it , he will just pay the Settlement himself, (he doesn’t have to), to reimburse the Tax Payers, how that happens is unclear as it is basically a Congressional Insurance Fund via Congressional Lawyers that initially Paid to Settle, so his $ just disappears into that black hole known as Government and does 0 point squat to reimburse Tax Payers.
Franken isn’t gone and isn’t going anywhere, it is a ruse.
Heard there are 150 active members os Congress that have had to have hush money paid out.
If it really doesn’t help taxpayers, then Blake should get to keep the money.
Blake doesn’t think so.
