It wasn’t a terribly popular view here in FR at the time, but some of us recognized GWB as an @sshole more than 10 years ago. The 2006 midterm disaster for the GOP should have been a reality check for the big-government globalists who own the party.
I can remember going up against the Bushbots in 2002. I voted for GWB, but after seeing his lack of action on vetoes, regulations and not using the bully pulpit against the Democrats, I saw that he was a bad one.
The 2006 shellacking was because they tried to jam amnesty down our throats.
What they did in response was try to jam amnesty down our throats again.
And then they nominated the author of those two amnesty attempts to lose against an ineligible usurper who opened the borders wide. Then they nominated Mitt Romney, the quintessential severely conservative Establishment Republican that no one believed anything he said because he had taken every side of every issue at one point.
They wanted to nominate Yeb! as Designated Loser this time.

I'll never forget election night 2006. Bush sent Tony Snow out to congratulate the rats and to say that now W hoped he had a Congress with whom he could finally complete Comprehensive Immigration Reform. I didn't care for W at that point...after that point I despised him. Still do. The whole rotten globalist bunch.
Exactly 41 has been leading the cabal for decades we are only now understanding it but many suspected it a long time ago,its all there one need only do enough research to find it out.
