Trump’s campaign reportedly was offered access to WikiLeaks documents

President Trump was offered access to hacked WikiLeaks documents during his 2016 election campaign, according to CNN.

CNN on Friday reported that the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and others in the Trump Organization were also afforded the same opportunity last year.

The September 4 message was sent during the height of the 2016 presidential race between now-President Trump and Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.

The email came two months after hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) publicly emerged.

The outreach also happened a month before WikiLeaks began leaking the contents of hacked emails from John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman.

The email additionally arrived less than three weeks before WikiLeaks directly contacted Donald Trump Jr., starting an exchange of direct messages on Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr. told investigators that he has no recollection of the message, which was verified by his attorney and described to CNN by multiple sources.

Congressional investigators are now trying to determine whether the person who sent the email is legitimate.

The message came from someone who listed their name as “Mike Erickson,” and it was addressed to now-President Trump and Donald Trump Jr.

The email was also addressed to Donald Trump Jr.’s personal assistant and others, and it was turned over to Congress as part of the documents provided by the Trump Organization.

The outreach also indicated that President Trump’s election campaign could access records from former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Powell’s hacked emails were ultimately released publicly by a Russian front group ten days after the September 2016 message was sent.

Donald Trump Jr. was asked about the WikiLeaks email on Wednesday during the House Intelligence Committee’s questioning of him behind closed doors.

Several sources familiar with the exchange told CNN that Donald Trump Jr. downplayed his Twitter message exchanges with WikiLeaks.

Donald Trump Jr. claimed that corresponding with WikiLeaks was equal to engaging with new organizations like CNN or NBC.

WikiLeaks has used decryption keys and related websites in the past, with the idea being that an encrypted data file is impossible to open without the right tool.

Anytime CNN uses the word “reportedly,” it means nothing more than “we reported it... after we made it up.”

More fake news. Assange didn't contact anyone in the Trump campaign. Also, the supposed access was to the “deleted” Hillary Clinton unauthorized server emails, not the Podesta/DNC emails.

This is a desperation ploy.

Congressional investigators are now trying to determine whether the person who sent the email is legitimate.

That tells me that DJT and DJT Jr. didn't follow up with the email. Otherwise, investigators would already know if the person who sent the email was legitimate.

These Wikileaks did absolutely nothing to change the election, the biggest “bombshell” to come out of it was that Dummie Whatshername Schitz supported Hitlery over Sanders, but other than that, the bottom line why Hitlery failed to steal the election is because she sat on her fat cankle supported arse her entire campaign thinking she would easily win while Trump was out there every day busting his butt, putting in massive amounts of time and effort, countless interviews every day, no question off limits, multiple rallies every day that filled stadiums. And BTW, anyone who thought Hitlery would succeed is nuts. Trump was filling stadiums while she could barely fill a gymnasium which is WHEN she ever held a rally which was like almost NEVER.

Despite the screeching, CNN KNOWS this is fake news:

“Congressional investigators are uncertain who the sender is, and CNN was unable to make contact with the individual. It’s not clear whether the email was a legitimate effort to provide the hacked documents to the Trump campaign.”

http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/08/politics/email-effort-give-trump-campaign-wikileaks-documents/index.html

CNN has whipped up this fake story to make the cat ladies who make up its audience foam at the mouth, and avoid covering the incredibly damaging information that’s come about in the last few days regarding the compromised Mueller investigation.

This crap needs to end like yesterday. The whole Trump/Russia collusion “story” is a conspiracy fantasy spawned by the Fusion GPS / Steele dossier. Most of the MS media only report details that cast a shadow on Trump for the purpose of eroding public confidence in him. That’s the real conspiracy.

The key code word here is "reportedly". With CNN when it comes to their fake news about President Trump, "reportedly" could have been pillow talk between two of their gay fake reporters.
