I have spent time in the Yukon and in the backwoods of British Columbia. The Canadians I met there were “good folks” as we would say down in Alabama. They hated the liberals from Eastern Canada every bit as much as my Southern Brethren despised East Coast American Liberals. They also did not think it was funny when I offered to trade California for BC. :)
