It looks like they’re mucking out the stables, in advance of the next election campaign.
The Democrats want to use their “War on Women” theme against the Republicans; and they can’t do that, while they’re still mired in their own muck.
It’s hard to believe that the party of Bill Clinton and Teddy Kennedy, not to mention Al Franken, can run on being the “Party of Women.” But, the democrats are, if anything, totally shameless.
After all, they’ve managed to make everyone forget (well, almost everyone—smart conservatives remember) that the democrats were the party of slavery, of Jim Crow, of the Ku Klux Klan, and rednecks like Bull Connor who used German Shepherds and high-pressure water cannons to discourage Blacks who wanted to go to integrated schools and use the same restrooms, water fountains, and bus seats as white people. Now, magically, republicans became the racists. I guess that owning 90% of the media outlets, both print and over the air, have allowed the Big Lie to become a meme.
Unless the Democrats can go back in time and un-elect Bill Clinton, they'll NEVER have any credibility in their "war on women" theme against Republicans.
They supported, elected and RE-ELECTED a serial Rapist, Abuser, Womanizer and Adulterer. Democrats OWN that.
Trump's a piker by comparison.
That's what I think, also. PLUS, Conyers and Franken got killed cuz they could be focused on meaning just the two of them. But in a field of 20-30, no one individual has to take all the heat, maybe. That means they might survive.
