Now, even as the tally of Mr. Weinstein’s alleged misdeeds is still emerging, so is a debate about collective failure and the apportioning of blame.

A good article that lays it all out there for all to see. Amazingly, coming from The NY Times!

“If Mr. Weinstein built his wall of invulnerability from many varied bricks, it was covered with a sheen of celebrity. He created stars through his movies, but he also acquired famous friends through his other activities, including in the Democratic politics that dominate Hollywood.

Chief among them were Bill and Hillary Clinton. Over the years, Mr. Weinstein provided them with campaign cash and Hollywood star power, inviting Mrs. Clinton to glittery premieres and offering to send her films. After Mr. Clinton faced impeachment in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, he donated $10,000 to Mr. Clinton’s legal defense fund. Mr. Weinstein was a fund-raiser and informal adviser during Mrs. Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign, a guest in her hotel suite when she won and a host of an A-list victory party. He was an early backer of both her presidential bids.

Mr. Weinstein’s political activity — he provided consistent support for Mr. Obama as well — boosted his image as a man with friends in high places and close ties to the country’s leading female politician. It is not clear if rumors of his record of sexual misconduct had ever reached them.”

History will record that Hillary Clinton was able to reach her political zenith only with the aid and association with corrupt and decadent men such as Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein and Tony Podesta. She is nothing more than a lesbian, criminal, power hungry fraud.

Weinstein, Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama operated a RICO style racket where rich Hollywood movie stars and producers and other well connected individuals donated huge sums of money and provided media support to Democrat Politicians and in return, the Hollywood set gained political influence and were made above the law and politically untouchable for illegal activities like drug dealing, sex crimes, tax evasion and shady business dealings.

Some aided his actions without realizing what he was doing.

Like Hillary Clinton and other Democrats as they are trying to imply.

I’ve noticed the trolls have been here carrying on about how the Dems are using ones like Weinstein and Franken to try to frame Republicans and conservatives. However, this would require people to start trusting the establishment media’s narrative on this and other matters and they no longer have that control like they did even when Clinton was in the White House.

The NYTimes - a lot of info, but ESSENTIALLY the report is working at blaming it all on what I call “maledom” - the charge that it is really all about masculinity, when ALL sexual abuse, whether it’s a Weinstein or a female K-12 teacher seducing 14 year old male student, is really an issue of power and particularly the abuse of power.

Mr Weinstein’s corrupt abuse of power could have taken many forms, but his took the sexual form. It wasn’t “masculinity”, it as Yeshua warned about the “rich man” having a harder time getting into heaven. The issue for the rich, the powerful, is not the riches or the power. It’s the temptations that comes with great wealth and/or great power, including the temptation to abuse power. It is not “masculinity”, but THAT IS the agenda we will hear from the media for the next twenty four months at least.

David Pecker is getting dragged into this. They are saying Harvey was an FOP, friend of Pecker.

I am not so sure HW is guilty of rape, at least not after the first year of his attainment of power in Hollywood. Rape and the other abuse charges are specious if the "victims" understood before going in that it was the price for their prospective fame and fortune. There may, I suppose, have been a naif or two who had not heard about Weinstein' methods.
Willing submission is NOT rape. Entering HW's space seeking something while knowing what the price is to be is submission and permission.

If I were on the jury that there surely will be, I would have to see some clear indication that at least one of these job seekers truly did not know of HW's couch before I could say "Guilty."
