Pray he stays in. He’s their albatross. Otherwise they will appoint someone competent.

He’s useless to the democrat party, and a major liability for them in the mid-terms. Completely takes away their one and only theme for Nov 2018: “Trump is bad and hates women”. He’ll resign alright, even if it takes the threat of Arkanside. But the announcement tomorrow will be a media event full of vitriol for Roy Moore. “Hey, I’m quitting, now take out one of yours, too.” Of course it won’t work. People are smart enough to see Frankenstein for the sociopathic, unfunny turd that he is.

I hope and pray that Franken holds on to the bitter end. As such he will be defeated by Norm Coleman whom he stole the election from in multiple recounts.
Get in there Mr. Coleman, you could be the next Senator!

This is all about the Dems setting the stage for demanding that Trump resign because of his locker room talk and the parade of 16 women who came forward during the campaign claiming sexual misconduct by him. The Dems are willing to sacrifice Conyers and Franken to get Trump. They'll probably try to play that card, but on Franken, after Conyers stepped down, they HAVE to go after him to placate the black vote.
I think there's something else going on, though. People have known about Weinstein, Spacey, Franken, etc., forever, and suddenly they're falling like flies. I think a lot of them are being threatened with the REAL stuff coming out (think Dennis Hastert.)

Forgot to add this, Al Franken could probably survive what is publicly known at this time. The Dems know much more bad stuff is out there. This is the reason they have thrown him under the bus.
Just politics and nothing more. He has now become a negative for the Dems. “No hard feelings, pun intended, Mr. Franken”, this is just business as usual, bye!

... unless they have bigger fish to fry (Moore, then Trump). If the Democrats weren’t running a long-con on America, then I’d agree with you that Franken would get a pass.

Do you think SNL will do a sketch on Senator Frankens sexual peccadillos ?
They'll probably feature him as guest host after he resigns.
