Brought to the states when he was just 6, Ye lost any protection that childhood arrival may have offered when he was convicted of mail theft and possession of stolen property in the early 2000s.

If ya do the crime ya gotta do the time. I bet they wouldn't have done anything to him had he not been a convicted felon.

Bub-bye.

Being in this country illegally (duh) is against the law. In addition, he broke the law as an adult here. Because we like him we should let him stay, no penalty, vs his neighbor who has done the same but we don’t like?

That’s why we have courts. They are both guilty, they both leave. If we decide based on emotion, why even have a court?

By the way, picking an choosing who comes into this country is a logical choice, rather than letting anyone who wants come. We should want people who will be assets to our country.

Just who said anything about ‘like’ but you? If the guy
works and supports his blended family and has paid for
his crime then he is worthy of a little consideration.
If his neighbor is in the same boat then consider him too.
There will be many thousands of illegals less deserving
than this guy who won’t be going anywhere.

How do we know he is really a mechanical engineer?
I dunno, how do we know he is not really from Colorado?
How do we know you are not a spy from DU? Why is it
that so many people feel the need to play the ‘I’m a
Bigger Conservative Than You’ game? Are we so damn
insecure in our belief system that we can’t recognize
exceptions?

“Are we so damn insecure in our belief system that we can’t recognize exceptions?”

Exceptions to our belief system (and laws) got us Obama for 8yrs and three people running for president who were not eligible. At any rate, I’d not discussing this any more.

I’m not going to play the “I shall take the last word
and run” game with you. I don’t care if one person
reads what I have to post and if history teaches
anything then you will respond, anyway.

Exceptions to belief systems did not get Obama elected.
Obama was elected because of the failure to make a case
at all for the superiority of our beliefs over his. To
pretend that viable exceptions never exist shows you are
mentally weak. Your dogmatic ideal may work with regard to
alcoholism but it doesn’t work or win in other aspects
of life. You lack confidence in yourself and the
overall wisdom of your belief system.

.......well, I feel sorry for the man but if you start making exceptions, particularly for felons, where will it stop?

Give The Left an inch and they will take a mile!
