Probably. Frankly, absent the sexual harassment claims, I thought Moore was a flawed candidate.

If Franken is forced out then Moore will be denied his seat or he will forced out by the GOP leadership. If he were not then you are letting the Democrats have the Moral High Ground and that would not look good. There are no winners here in this mess.

Yep! I have already seen it today painting this as a real problem for Republicans- The contrast between how Democrats see sexual abuse, and the way Republicans do. Of all people, I saw a WAPO writer today on one of the channels make a very good point. If Conyers and Franken were in States with Republican Gov.’s, there is no way either of them would even consider resigning. That is a point that should not be lost in all the rhetoric that is coming.

The Roy Moore accusers’ stories are falling apart and he’s leading in the polls, and Franken’s probably going to resign tomorrow. He’s bad enough, he’s stupid enough, and dammit, people don’t like him.
