As immigrant advocacy groups rallied outside Florida Sen. Marco Rubios and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balarts offices in Doral Monday, protesters say a U.S. Customs and Border Protection truck circled around the group.
@ICEgov just sent a truck to intimidate the dreamers fasting outside of the offices of Senator @marcorubio and Congressman @MarioDB. #CleanDreamAct #DreamActNow, posted Florida Immigrant Coalitions Tomas Kennedy.
The protest was organized to demand the protection for Dreamers, those who were brought by their families to the United States as children even though they were undocumented immigrants.
Many of those participating some elderly launched a week-long hunger strike Friday, urging local politicians to fight the Trump administrations repeal of the countrys Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Adios muchachos.
I love it when a plan comes together.
They should scoop them up in front-end loaders - like in Soylent Green.
So they were there to intimidate Rubio, but didn’t like being intimidated. Too bad.
A feel-good story.
Trump has asked congress to give them permanent legal status. So factually speaking, they have no beef.
Repatriate them all.
It’s not right that these illegals should be separated from their real home countries.
We’ll give them a break by not sending them a bill for the free schooling they got here.
A classic.

Dreamer rally .... some were elderly. Really? Implying there are elderly dreamers?? Or were the elderly the illegals who brought their illegal children here? A shame ICE did not actually, arrest and deport the whole lot.
They can dream in Mexico just fine.
That is beautiful! Gotta love Trump, don’t protest in our country if you’re not a citizen.
Doug, you made me LOL!
Bazinga!
Source for your assertion re: legal status, please.
Cue the Jaws theme music.
(CBP should put dorsal fins and freakin’ lasers on the tops of their vehicles.)
.
Fear and intimidation work - every time they are tried.
Not as a long-term strategy, of course, but in a “shock and awe” strike, highly effective.
