Report: DACA Amnesty Would Give Green Cards To 2 Million Additional Foreigners. Why? Chain Migration
National Economics Editorial ^ | Dec 4, 2017 | Editorial Staff

DACA amnesty would bring an estimated 2 million additional immigrants into America—on top of the 700,000 DACA amnesty recipients— according to Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Center for Illegal Immigration Studies. Vaughan says:

"If Congress were to pass an amnesty for people with DACA, it would ultimately result in 2 million new immigrants over time. . . For every two immigrants we admit, you can say there will be an additional seven admitted. That growth is built into our immigration system."

This is because of a process called chain migration. Essentially, current US immigration law gives priority to immigrants who are “sponsored” by a family member already living in America, rather than someone with economic skills or investment capital.

Democrats in Congress are working furiously to get DACA legalized via an amnesty bill. If they succeed, not only will 700k more people be added to the voter base (who vote by 85%+ margin for the Dems), but they'll be able to sponsor family members to immigrate as well.

Without immigration reform (Tom Cotton's RAISE Act), DACA amnesty would tip the balance in favor of the democrats irreversibly. Even by ending chain migration, amnesty would make many states in the southwest competitive for the democrats. Texas may even be in play.

End DACA and deport all illegals. Any other option encourages future criminal behavior.

End chain migration and the visa lottery. Award visas only to those whose presence helps the United States as a whole and working Americans in particular.

It’s time to restore the rule of law.

This is all for the retention of rat power, the most base of all reasons. The nation be damned.

Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy -

Stop giving prizes

for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.

This must be stopped.

Will you help stop this?

It is the Center for Immigration Studies not the Center for Illegal Immigration Studies.

No. The parents of dreamers must go. Why aren’t they gone already? And why are my children’s schools in Alabama flooded with foreign children?

Yes, they intend to bully the nation into submitting to an invasion and permanent majority via a demographic tsunami.
And if you don’t agree, you must be racist and xenophobic!
Chain migration is killing us.

Ending chain migration is part of any GOP DACA amnesty plan.

End DACA.

End chain migration.

End birthright citizenship.

End sanctuary cities and states.

BUILD THE WALL!!!!

ALL of these ONLY require a majority of both Houses to pass, and Trump’s signature. If the current House and Senate won’t do it - THEN THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH PEOPLE WHO WILL!!!!! No one who gives a damn about this nation should stay home during 2018; we need to be involved in primaries, and in the general election. Get rid of the internationalists, the statists, the Uniparty toadies, and elect people who actually care about this country.

WTF did we elect Trump for, if we’re going to have 2.7 million new voters, plus all of their offspring, just come in here and change the electorate to favor the Communist-leaning Demonrats????

Exactly.

“End birthright citizenship.”

I’m still puzzled how citizenship can be given to children of foreign nationals born in the U.S. There’s no congressional law that I’m aware of...

What law do the states use to justify issuing birth certificates to babies of foreign nationals?

I fear if DACA makes it to trumps desk.

he will sign it.

And that would be the end of America as we know it.

It is the 14th Amendment, specifically an interpretation of it by ONE Supreme Court Justice. Several high-level Circuit Court judges and other legal scholars have stated that if Congress would merely pass a bill, and a President would sign it into law, which would exclude children born in the US to people who are not citizens or permanent residents from US legal jurisdiction, then there would be NO birthright citizenship.

You can figure out why no such bill has ever ended up on a President’s desk. THIS is why we need to have a (peaceful, ballot box-based) revolution next year. Send the internationalists and the open-borders types back to the private sector and elect those who actually care about this country and its future.

Triple it.

DACA brings in 15 million more illegals to take your jobs.

Doug Jones loves illegals.

Except it was plain that the 14th never meant any such thing as giving citizenship to babies born to foreign nationals.

Congress is given plenary authority over naturalization. The courts CAN’T MAKE ANYONE A CITIZEN.

Staggering how lawless this country has become.

Oh, I agree.

When the 14th was being debated, it was SPECIFICALLY noted that the child of foreign diplomats would NOT be citizens, even if born in a hospital and not on the embassy of their country. Why? Because there was no jurisdiction over these people.

The 14th was intended to make certain that former slaves born in the US would be citizens, entitled to equal protection of the law and due process. That is ALL that it was about.

We have certainly become lawless when any words or concepts can be endlessly twisted until they bear no resemblance to the original meaning - and then the Supreme Court blesses that distorted meaning.
