"what it labels heavy drinkers, consuming more than two drinks daily for men and more than one drink daily for women."

Who in their right mind would label two drinks a day as heavy drinking? Those first two are just for medicinal purposes. Heavy drinking starts somewhere around double digits.

According to the study, 65.9 percent of adults in D.C. have had at least one drink in the past month, second only to Wisconsin’s 67.3 percent.

so what? One drink a month? Should be 100%

This outfit says 1 in 8 people have problems with alcohol abuse. That is much higher than the usual figures for alcoholism. Maybe they have an agenda.

This is a f’ng lie. No LA, NY, NV, NJ, CA, TX, etc.?

Federal tax dollars for this kind of crap research by the CDC should be cut off!!! I saw an article a few months ago where the CDC had done a study on gun violence (NOT a disease).

The CDC has gone far left like the EPA did and needs to be cleaned out by firing the loons. Funding should be limited to research regarding diseases/illnesses and development of means for treatment or eradication of them.
