He may be a lying POS, but he is also stupid. I've seen two "Brian Ross Reports" in which the stupid F***er made the world a more dangerous place.
In one episode, he showed how easy it was to sneak fissionable material in the United States. The sh*t head didn't seem to know that Robert Oppenheimer himself testified to congress about the difficulty of preventing nuclear material from coming into our ports. Congress asked him what sort of equipment would be needed to detect smuggled nuclear material.
He said "A screwdriver. You will have to open every container that comes into the country."
On another episode, he showed terrorists how to blow up trains carrying deadly chemicals so that they could potentially kill 100,000 people. Again, Stupid Brian Ross did not understand that this problem is impossible to stop, and by letting the terrorist know about this vulnerability, he made it all the more likely someone would commit such an act.
Brian Ross is an astonishing level of stupid. Did you know it was him that rigged the Chevrolet pickup truck to explode by putting pyrotechnics on it that were designed to light off the gas tank on impact?
He wanted to demonstrate a Chevy truck gas tank blowing up, so he rigged it to blow up. This is how he got fired from NBC.
