I'm surprised you'd even suggest such a thing in light of what has transpired SINCE January 20th of 2017.
It's no coincidence that Comey was fired in early May, immediately after he testified before the U.S. Senate that President Trump was not the target of any FBI investigation. This sworn statement from Comey was needed before he could be fired, because it took the whole "obstruction of justice" allegation off the table as a rationale for his termination.

And while he was at it, Trump should have sent active duty members of the military in large numbers to the border.
