No, McConnell is not changing his mind. He said that Moore should step aside, that if Moore wins, then the senate will deal with him via ethics inquiry ( as if anyone’s prior behavior ever stooped felons and pervs from sitting in congress!). Why Moore? Because he is unapologetic and staunch in his position. Politics is the art of compromise, and compromise pretty much no standards- just an auction of legislative action in exchange for some other onerous and self-serving legislation for someone else’s votes- quid pro quo.
What better person to have in congress than someone who has been dismissed and over=trodden on by all of his past endeavors- what has he to loose by standing firmly on his principles? Ever wonder why those who are so bendable and flimsy never get much critical attention? Because they are not threats- everyone has dirt on them and vice versa-the swamp.
Maybe Moore can help Trump drain some more acreage and the people can reclaim some decent land.....

With all due respect, this story about Moore being a creep has pretty much died. The mountains of evidence never materialized and the accusers have largely been party hacks.
They managed to make Alabama a very hard seat to keep (or even not keep it at all). Good Job GOP, money well spent!

I heard some poll talked about on the radio today saying Jones had a 3-point lead. I would love to know how these polls could EVER be seen as credible.
Hopefully this is true. Given the story about Soros pumping money into Alabama to get felons (and others, I suspect) to vote in the election, I have some concerns about this seat being stolen.
