He lost the battle, but he hasn’t given up the fight.

The Beltway mentality is strong with this one.

Not at all. I think that no one should make salaries of millions of dollars a year while their employees don’t make a living wage. I think public employees are overpaid at all levels of government....it used to be that federal, state, and local employees had smaller salaries because they had job stability and government employee benefits. I think that if corporations manufacture overseas and get cheap labor should pay tariffs instead of executives rewarding themselves with higher wages and benefits.

“Why should those making over $150,000 get any tax break?”

Are you being sarcastic?

Per article

McConnell publicly called on Moore to leave the race after the Washington Post article came out earlier this month, and The New York Times reported that he’s gone to unusual lengths to try to dispatch Moore — hiring Washington attorneys with Alabama experience to draft a four-page memo listing possible legal maneuvers that could be used to prevent Moore from being elected.

I agree with payment of tariffs and of government laying itself too much. Also, companies often get top-heavy and should undergo more pruning.

Who pays the great great majority of income tax confiscations?
Who of the employed get zero income tax taken, and why?
You’re here since 1999? How?

****I think that no one should make salaries of millions of dollars a year while their employees don’t make a living wage.****

Thou shalt not covet.

Having the government involved in wages is truly unnecessary because in a free market employees will ditch the companies that pay less than others.

Mitch runs around with his hand in his pocket trying to get a grip on the situation.

Must be a pocket groper.

Thou shalt not cover

Seems to me the coveting is being done by upper-tier employees who make millions of dollars in salaries and benefits while their employees don't make a living wage.

That's silly. I support EVerify, sending home invaders, a re-establishment of the middle class. Nancy and Chuckie want to destroy national identity, flood us with invaders, and having a slave class dependent on government handouts.

Grania, I appreciate that you are sticking around to defend yourself. Many would just be "hit and run".

That being said, if I own a company that provides value to my customers that allowes me to make millions of dollars, so be it. If you work for me, I will pay you what you are worth in the market place of labor. I owe you nothing more. If you are more valuable to someone else, so be it. Work for them or start your own business even if it competes with mine. I am not forcing you to do anything.

He must think the Kentuckians are still on board with him, as they have stood by in support in 1984, 1990, 1996, 2002, 2008, and 2014! Leave it to a Kentuckian!
