Mitch McConnell Gives Up Call for Roy Moore to Step Aside
Washington Times ^ | 30 Nov 2017 | Margaret Menge

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell did not reiterate calls for Roy Moore to step aside during an interview Wednesday night on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” Instead, McConnell said Alabama voters would get to make their decision on December 12, and that an ethics investigation of Moore would likely commence after he takes office. “On December the 12th, they’ll get to decide who they want to send to the Senate, and we’ll deal with that when that happens,” McConnell told host Laura Ingraham. Ingraham pressed further, mentioning senators who've talked about expelling Moore from the Senate if he's elected.

People in Alabama, she said, have full information about the allegations against Moore, the former chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court famous for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom.

The US Senate just passed a "tax reform" bill that favors the wealthy and corporate donors who subsidize the Republican establishment. Now Senator McDonnell is saying openly that they get to choose who can be in the US Senate.

This used to be done more subtly when the Machine could rig or steal nominations. That's falling apart, so now they'll just not seat Senators they don't approve of?

The nation is quite possibly beyond saving.

That fossil McConnell has been around so long he thinks he is allowed to block the door to the Senate of someone he does not like.

The fact that he’s willing to turn over a seat in the Senate, FOR ANY REASON, shows just how bad he is.

There was a thread earlier today about whether people would vote for an Axe Killer if he were Republican. I said YES!, assuming the killer votes for Republican judges.

Since losing the Courts will lead directly to Civil War 2, and I do not want to be a part of causing it for my kids and grand kids.

If you’re interested in my rationale, you can read my post:

Fake freaking news.

Even Aesop knew that 2,500 years ago.

The (republican) Senate majority leader is not opposing the (republican) candidate nominated by the voters, and this is news? I hope we will choose a conservative for that position next time around.

It's not fake news at all. Why should those making over $150,000 get any tax break? The upper tier fared very well while middle and lower-income workers have had stagnant or worse wages through the GWB and Obama administrations.

Deplorables won the election. The elite write the laws, with just a few bones thrown to special groups. How come EVerify isn't even being discussed as a way to help workers whose wages are stagnant? Could it be because the PuppetMasters have no intention whatsoever to use the repatriated money to better the lives of the financially less endowed?

You’re writing has much of the same verbiage progressives on twitter use in their lies against President Trump & this tax reform bill.

Tell you what, you come up with your tax reform plan & how it will be implemented so no one, especially you, feels any pain. Post it. Let’s see what you come up with. Till then, stop talking like a progressive.

This is my tweet script to progressives for making the same BS argument:

#FakeNews #ProgressiveFallacies The lower tax bracket folks get their @StandardDeduction increased to 24k. The poor benefit from this #TaxCut #OldProgressiveLies don’t work anymore #EpicRealityFail #MAGA

Trump showed you can win if you stand up to bullies and have the backbone to withstand the initial volleys of fake news and cries - by your own party! - to admit guilt and step aside. Political assassination has always worked in the past, so the establishment - politicians and media - are having fits that Trump defied them. If Moore wins using the same strategy, it will be a major defeat for the GOPe rats.

Companies should not be paying such high taxes. That helps encourage them to send jobs out and relocate HQs to other countries.

Even Canada, Russia, China, West Germany, New Zealand, Ireland...all but one or two countries in the whole world understand this and gladly receive companies started here because people like you can’t understand the simple logic that’s making you not have job options.

Get your head out.

Here, let me help you take your logic one step further.

Walk past any number of people who appear to have more than you, and tell yourself these people don’t deserve anything they’ve made, and make plans to eventually steal or burn all of what they own. After all, they got it from the GOPE and Dems, right?

That’s exactly how you think.

What would I do:

1. People pay Social Security taxes on all of their income.

2. Increase the percentage that has to come out of 401Ks every year. Those that don't want to spend the money can put what they have to take out into an annuity or CDs.

3. EVerify will boost US wages to US workers. Make it more stringent who gets benefits who could and would be working if jobs paid more than handouts.

4. Abolish Department of Education, don't fund vanity funding such as PBS and National Endowment of Arts.

It's not "progressive" to recognize that there has to a middle class that the vast majority of US citizens can aspire to join through hard work for the nation to survive.
