Fortunately for Mrs. Kyle all costs associated with this on her behalf were paid by the Insurance Company that covered her husbands book.

Exactly. It was an unnecessary, petulant suit benefiting no one but lawyers. If I could go back to the nation’s founding, I’d try to convince them to adopt “loser pays” for litigation.
