North Korea is poised to intensify its rocket-testing programme including the first test of a submarine-launched missile following the successful trial of a rocket that can hit the US mainland, according to military analysts.
On Wednesday Pyongyang tested its new Hwasong-15 an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
Analysts now expect further tests, including an upgraded, submarine-based version of its Pukguksong missiles.
Song Zhongping, a retired instructor from the Peoples Liberation Armys strategic missile force, said the North had the capacity to step up tests of its land and sea-based missiles in the Pacific.
Pyongyang last tested its land-based Pukguksong-2 in February and May this year and it is expected to have been working to develop its submarine-launched Pukguksong-3, which has a range of over 2,000 kilometres.

Pyongyang will also have frequent tests on its solid-fuel Pukguksong series to prove the country is going to have a real nuclear combat capability, Song, who is a now Phoenix TV military commentator, said.
North Korea will possibly launch more tests of the Hwasong-12 and Hwasong-15 ICBMs, with the latter being armed with nuclear warheads to conduct full-scale nuclear tests in the Pacific Ocean.

My bet is little Kim will launch a nuclear tipped missile to some remote part of the Pacific to show the world N. Korea is a true nuclear power.

Well, if we can’t stop em from nuking us, at least let it be San Francisco that gets the bomb. /s
No idea why Trump doesn’t tell NK and the world, “You launch one more missile toward us, we will consider that a direct attack on our nation and we WILL SHOOT IT DOWN!
And then do it!
Talk about your tragic boating accident s...
Many people don't realize that the Norks hate the Chi-Comms
just a little less than they hate America.
The Chinese fear North Korea developing a workable ICBM
system because the the Kim regime will start to threaten
and shake them down too!
And I think that a launch on
China by the Norks is an even higher probability
than a launch on the USA. Launching on China they'll
definitely reach a target. As far a I know China
has no missile defences.
“As far a I know China has no missile defences.’.......
Soon as Little Fat Boy fires his missile in their direction the world will find out. Same goes for the U.S.
NK is focusing on a vehicle that can survive reentry. That will really be significant.
It's unlikely NK would actually strike the US with a nuclear missile as they well know the severe response such an attack would provoke. What Fat Boy wants is to gain leverage (blackmail) in negotiations on the world stage,.... a deterrent against attacks, and a safeguard against any international efforts to undermine his regime.....
Suspect all the Fat-Cats were there on display.....according to DPRKs news.
"Show and Tell" on DPRK.....
Since China’s apparent oversight role in Mugabe’s downfall, who was in the way of China’s agenda for Africa, I suspect FatBoy isn’t exactly sleeping well with his relationship with China. ....Mugabe is pictured in NK propaganda posters as celebrating Fatboy and a dear friend.
I do believe when said.....”There is nothing that Kim Jong-un wants so much that they would abandon their nuclear weapons to get it”......
So here we are....
I am (really) not of the opinion, that China is on the same side of this conflict, as we are.
Not one bit.
