It is almost that bad. I do think though that the Uranium one scandal will blow back on Mueller and Jimmy the Weasel Comey big time. Then we can think about witch burning in earnest.

What does not make sense to me is the fact that Flynn, as a former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, would be perfectly aware of our surveillance of Russian officials when they are in the US. So he had to know, or assume, that his contacts with Kislyak were recorded and analyzed by the NSA. So why deny something that couldn’t have been forgotten (it was only a month prior to the FBI interview)? It is puzzling. It is hard to imagine that there was something in that conversation that caused him to deny it took place. He knew that they (the FBI with information gathered by the NSA) knew of the conversation and its contents.
