After the royal engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle announced she wouldn’t be returning to her job as an actress on the hit TV show “Suits.” “I don’t see it as giving anything up,” Markle told BBC’s Mishal Husain in an interview. “I see it as a change. It’s a new chapter.”
But that didn’t stop Jill Filipovic, author of “The H-Spot: The Feminist Pursuit of Happiness,” from calling that decision problematic. “[I]t’s so disappointing to see that she will be giving up her acting career after she weds,” Filipovic wrote in CNN, adding:
In dozens of write-ups about the Markle-Windsor engagement, she’s described as ‘fiercely independent.’ By marrying and giving up her hard-earned career, she is going to be quite literally entirely dependent on her husband and his family.
In honor of Filipovic’s assertion that you can’t be a good feminist if you give up your career as an actress to marry a prince, this week’s edition of “Problematic Women” is crowning Markle as our “Problematic Woman of the Week.”

Feminists want women to be just like men, with careers. These women end up as cat ladies.

I was so tired from her stalking me and calling at odd hours in the night and morning....
I’ll rest easier knowing she is on your little Island Nation but sadly, I won’t be visiting ever again, as I usually stay at The Rueben’s across the street from Buckingham and I just cannot risk running into her again.
Exciting times for sure but, no more drama.....

Markle divorced her first husband because she was more interested in keeping a starring role in a TV show. Her career clearly came ahead of her marriage.
It happens, dude. But it will be nice to be rid of the pressure... right?
They are in love and this is wonderful. We should just leave them alone and wish them the best.

I was in a terrible car accident and had been in a comma for six months.
One day the nurse came in and turned on the TV.
I guess “Suits” was, on because I heard Megyn’s voice.
So, I got up and turned the TV off.
That was funny.
She’s a hardcore leftwinger, and she and her family appear to be trashy as hell from the little I’ve bothered to notice. She’s a perfect fit for the “royal” family.
Oh no, what about Rachel and Mike?
She probably learned quickly that forgoing marriage and children for a career isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
